PJ King From A Silicon Success Of Clockworks International To A Scam

An inspiring Irish businessman is what PJ King was, with a modest background, the man showed a success story of making to the top. However, not every success story is as motivational as it seems initially, which is what exactly happens with PJ King. He started with a tech startup in his student days, when he was completing a degree in Aeronautical and Space Engineering from Cranfield University. The startup named the Clockworks International, founded in 1994, saw great days with prestigious clients before succumbing and finally getting sold off ever since King founded several companies only to sell them off at a later stage.

PJ King’s Journey From Clockworks International To Venturion LLC

It was during his college days that PJ King chose to build a bedroom startup. It was the Clockworks International that came into being and gave him the taste of entrepreneurship. Despite having a prestigious clientele that lists Apple, Disney, and IBM, he sold the company in 2000. However, it was only the beginning as the man’s interest in entrepreneurship slowly with different companies evolved to a passion for investment. In 2010 with Virgin Galactic in development, King chose to invest in the space tourism project and became one of its first customers to book a ticket to space. In an interview with CNN, PJ King told that the clear starry lit skies he used to see in his childhood from his native countryside place has always amazed him.

However, his interest in space seemed to get faded soon when PJ King started taking an active interest in blockchains and cryptocurrencies. The digital money market in the last ten years could make many of its shareholders millionaires. While investment companies were not new for PJ King, he founded the Posetano Investments in 2013, which directly deals with cryptocurrency and blockchains. In 2018, King became the CEO of another investment company named the Venturion LLC. Although the company declares to be similar to the Posetano Investments, a recent report by the Wall Street’s Journal changed the perception of many.

Making Of A Soap Bubble

With an already scarred reputation after being stamped with several trials for fraud and theft, PJ King has now been declared one of the top five scammers existing today. It is because of Venturion LLC that he openly calls himself the CEO of on his various social media channels. However, the company fails to show a digital face and hence proof of existence. There is no website, no team, and not even an office. The address that is registered with the company coincides with a residential address. After research on close to 1500 blockchain startups, the Wall Street Journal named Venturion as a classic example of a soap bubble. It is one of the fraud companies that take money from investors across the globe for cryptocurrency investments and then suddenly vanish into thin air announcing a huge scam. A funny fact points out that even the first venture of PJ King, the Clockworks International got its main board members face lawsuits for financial fraud. However, by then, King had already exited the company.
